Effective July 5, 2007, the Division of Facility Services was renamed the Division of Health Service Regulation.

The Division of Health Service Regulation regulates medical, mental health and group care facilities, emergency medical services, and local jails. We ensure that people in the care of these facilities are safe and receive appropriate care. We make certain that medical facilities are built only when there is a need for them.
